Are psychics real, or are they simply the byproduct of people who want to believe in fairy-tales?
Is there any genuine evidence for psychic abilities, or is it all wishful thinking? And are those of us who believe that psychics powers are PROVEN, and a great tool for getting authentic life advice simply deluding ourselves with new age nonsense?
There are few topics that can lead to a more contentious conversation than a discussion of psychics, clairvoyants, mediums, and the notion that some people have SPECIAL “gifts”.
Some of us, through personal experience and amazing adventures with things that defy all rational explanation, have come to know from first hand, PERSONAL PROOF and confident conviction that some psychics ARE in fact real.
Things happen everyday that defy scientific explanation. And often, those things are SO powerful, they are completely life changing and paradigm busting to boot!
For example? (and this is the sort of stuff the SKEPTICS don’t want you to believe, but is 100% TRUE)
Psychic Mediums ROUTINELY get information in scientific studies that defies chance, or probability by odds that are are a MILLION to one or more. (these studies are done by REAL scientists, and by believers and skeptics alike at places like the Windbridge Institute, the Rhine Institute and even BIG Universities like the U of Arizona and UVA’s School of Personality Studies)
Psychics like John Edward, George Anderson, and other famous clairvoyants and mediums have been tested vigorously by scientists on BOTH sides of the fence, and documentaries like HBO’s “Afterlife Experiments” have demonstrated just how AMAZING some of their “hit” rates are. (and NOT general good guesses like the skeptics like to argue)
As a matter of fact, I went to see one of the mediums above personally, in a small setting, earlier this summer…..and the readings he offered were MIND blowing, and amazing, and “wowed” just about everyone in the room. (including a good friend I went with who while super skeptical going in, walked out convinced he had a lot to learn about life, death and everything in between!)
Skeptics want you to believe there is NO evidence for ANY psychic ever offering real information that later turned out to be true.
This is 100% false, and most serious skeptics will admit this, because they KNOW it’s not accurate. (although they’ll try to argue the psychic cheated, or was lucky, or somehow got the information from a source we don’t yet understand)
The truth is this:
Before you convince yourself that psychics are fakes, frauds or con artists, go out and HAVE the experience for yourself. There are no excuses to make an argument about something you haven’t endeavored to experience for yourself. Call a legitimate, reputable psychic service for 20 or 30 bucks and see what the fuss is all about. (you may find yourself changed in wonderful ways you never expected, I promise!)
Who else wants to know the FASTEST way to tell if a psychic is real, or authentic….or GENUINE, before you blow your bank account on a bad reading?
If you are anything like I once was, the idea of wasting time, energy and INCOME on a psychic reading is very de-motivating, and a big reason why I’d often procrastinate on calling a new service, or visiting a new psychic.
Fear of the unknown…and a HEALTHY helping of skepticism can protect you……but it can also KEEP you from moving forward, especially when you really DO need genuine psychic advice.
The good news?
It’s really not necessary to spend a lot of money on a psychic reading before getting a "feel" for whether or not the intuitive is real, or genuine. As a matter of fact, as someone who studies this stuff by personally AND professionally alike, I’m able to spot a SCAM, or even just a bad reader…..pretty quickly, and with 90% accuracy in most cases.
But the #1 RULE for testing a psychic for authenticity is super simple:
NEVER commit to a lengthy, or expensive call or visit before TESTING a psychic with a free, or trial reading first.
For example?
Some networks now offer FREE 5 or 6 minute readings, with their BEST psychics, before you have to pay a dime. This is a a great way of QUICKLY testing an intuitive….without having to rely on word of mouth referrals, or reputation, and to simply SEE how accurate they are for yourself instead.
Other networks….even some of the very BEST known services, now offer very inexpensive trial readings that can cost as low as 10 or 20 dollars, for world class psychics that typically charge hundreds of dollars an hour. You can (and should) use this time to get as MUCH information as you can, and to test the accuracy, authenticity and trustworthiness of the intuitive….before you have to spend a ton of time or money on finding out they’re NOT real…or right for you.
Remember….
Learning to look for leading questions, fishing for information, pushy or insistent intuitives and cold reading techniques of ALL types and stripes is not difficult to spot! I challenge you to go into a reading with a healthy helping of BOTH open mindedness….AND a "prove it to me" skepticism, and you WILL get the answers you’re looking for…one way or the other!

Honestly? There is no real general rule. I’ve had some of my BEST readings done for a great price that was an incredible bargain to boot….and I’ve had inexpensive readings that were embarrassingly bad as well. The ONLY constant is that the "absolutely free" offers and ads out there are to be avoided like the plague….as I’ve never had one that’s been any good at all!

Here it is: I recommend always starting small. Buy small chunks of time from legitimate networks often taking advantage of introductory rates. They’ll often sell you the exact SAME psychic readings, from their BEST individual intuitive’s, clairvoyants and mediums for a FRACTION of their normal price. Why? Because they are confident that you’ll be impressed….and that you’ll continue to call in again in the future at their normal rates. And this is a "win/win" scenario for both YOU as the customer, the psychic service as well! (which works out well for everyone..:-)
But here is the "rub" so to speak…..
You really DON’T need much more than a good introductory reading to get an amazing amount of insight, information and psychic enlightenment. For example, you can get a 30 minute reading for 30 dollars with a psychic that ordinarily would charge $150 (or more) using this approach…and really NOT need to call back for a long while. (I do get more frequent readings personally….but only because I write about this stuff for a living….so it’s a bit more important for me….or at least that’s the excuse I use to get lots of readings..:-)
For you?
Just find a legitimate psychic service that offers GREATLY discounted first time, introductory sessions. Take FULL advantage of the maximum time they’ll a lot you…(usually about 30 minutes) as it obviously maximizes the value!
And write down all of the questions you have BEFORE the reading begins…..so that you DON’T feel the need to have to call back a few hours (or days) later to ask "one more thing"….giving you a great reading, at a great price and lots of GREAT information to chew on for a long while to come!
Can psychics read minds? Are some psychics really adept at tapping into your inner thoughts, emotional energy or inner most fears? The truth is, many super skilled psychics can do FAR more than just read minds.

Psychic Mind Reading and Science
Want to know the truth? When it comes to many psychic mediums who have managed to do AMAZING things in terms of gleaning information from the "other side", some skeptics have gotten so flummoxed by the accuracy of the readings, that they’ve actually started to claim that the psychic is NOT talking to spirits….but rather using a skill they call SUPER-PSI, which is (according to them) a mind reading ability that occurs occasionally in nature, and some psychics seem to have a good grasp on it for sure..:-)
So what is the implication behind this particular claim?
Very simple! Instead of asserting (or acknowledging) that some of these psychic mediums are able to connect with deceased relatives, loved one’s and "soul’s", skeptics have started to argue that in SOME cases, mind reading is a better (and more logical) explanation than dead people who can speak!
And the irony of this is….of course, that these very same skeptics, years ago argued that the notion of mind reading itself was illogical, impossible and inconceivable to admit.
The bottom line?
Of course, I already KNOW that psychics can "read minds". (even though it’s a bit more complex that ..:-) But we also believe that some psychics, especially gifted mediums….CAN also speak to the dead as well. And there are also many other more advanced abilities, talents and energies that we haven’t even begun to scratch the psychic surface of at all. (but will certainly cover in other articles, blog posts and recommendations for sure..:-)
The key to all of this is simply to PROVE it to yourself. You don’t need to (and shouldn’t have to) take the word of OTHER people when it comes to figuring out what to believe.
If you truly want to find out whether REAL psychics exist….you simply need to take the initiative, and contact a real psychic! (and make up your OWN mind about what’s fact….or fiction!)
