What are the signs a psychic, medium or clairvoyant is good?
What are the sorts of things to look for when trying to decide if a reader is real…..or just really good at making things up?
And what are the best ways to tell that a psychic network (or individual intuitive) is worth trying, and trusting….BEFORE you blow your money on a reading that is NOT worth your time, energy, income or effort?
The truth is, in my view anyway…there are many small, subtle signs that a psychic reader is good that MOST people will overlook. Little things like their mannerisms during a reading, how they explain information, and even what they believe about their own psychic or intuitive abilities for ME is very telling. (but maybe only because I have been researching and writing about this phenomena for a really long time, and know what strikes me as authentic)
Believe it or not, some of the easiest signs that a psychic is real can be gleaned from the type of readings they offer.
For example……PHONE psychic readings are much more difficult to do, and almost impossible to do “cold reading” (or the process of pretending to be getting information psychically, when instead…..the reader is reading body language, mannerisms or other “tells” their clients offer without realizing it)
In general, psychics who work by phone, and have very good ratings and reviews from satisfied customers and clients, to me……are far more trustworthy than psychics that don’t do phone calls, and work exclusively face to face.
Another strong sign for me is in their personal promise, or guarantee. A reader who offers a trial reading for compatability purposes, or who will give you your money back if you aren’t satisifed, is FAR more trustworthy than one who won’t, or who starts charging the moment the reading begins. (and doesn’t offer any performance promise or guarantee)
Simply stated…..professionals of ANY kind who are willing to put their money where they’re mouths are are more likely to be genuine than those who aren’t, and that certainly applies in the psychic world as well as any other industry as well!
Can online psychic reviews be trusted? How accurate are they? Are they honest, or are they simply shills for selling psychic services by the actual readers they rate, review or write up? And most importantly……how can you tell WHICH reviews are trustworthy, and which should be avoided at all costs?
The GOOD news? Very rarely will you find review sites that are written by the actual psychics that are being described in the write ups themselves. Why not? Because to be honest with you, that would PROBABLY be against the law, and I’m most legitimate psychic services are not going to put themselves in the position to go to jail for something so silly..:-)
That said……many reviews are NOT honest, and are written by people with NO psychic experience, or interest at all. As a matter of fact, as a professional psychic and paranormal publisher myself (as well as an affiliate) it amazes me how many reader reviews are obviously written by folks who have no clue what to look for when it comes to getting a real reading that YOU can trust. Most are marketers, or advertisers, or people who are far more interested in profits, than in psychic abilities.
For example, if WE recommend you visit a psychic service, we are compensated as an affilaite, or promotional partner, for that network. (either in actual compensation, or in free readings, which is becoming very common as well) And while I hope that has no bearing on our recommendations, or our honesty, you should know that before you call. (and any psychic review site that doesn’t admit as much, needs to be asked why not?)

The truth is, there is LOTS of evidence that seems to support the idea that past lives are not only possible, but that many folks actually are able to remember them with a wee bit of practice, and an open mind as well. For example……many children spontaneously remember past lives at very young ages….and describe details of countries, cultures and lives that seem impossible for them to have learned on their own. (even with parental “coaching” or fraud……which is the typical way most skeptics try to wave away these cases)
Ultimately, you have to make your OWN mind up about what you think is possible – both spiritually and otherwise, right? Children! Believe it or not, some of the best cases of past life recall are actually from kids. Why? They tend to be purer, without preconditioning, and they have NO agenda. (especially when caught really early, and it can be determined that family influence is NOT a factor)

Regression for past life regression typically involves hypnosis, and bringing a patient back in time to where their problems began….which CAN (and occasionally does) result in memories that pre-date a current lifetime. The best way for ordinary people to try to recall their past lives is a simple 20 or 30 minute psychic “intervention”, where you share thoughts, memories, deja vu experiences, or karmic connections you believe aren’t explainable in terms of your current lifetime alone.
