Are some online psychic services superior to others, or are they all roughly comparable to one another?
Here is a collection of 10 places to get a psychic reading from one of the more popular article directories that lists a bunch of sites that offer readings from free……to fairly pricey.
Many of these psychic networks I’ve never heard of…..and as far as free readings go, if you’ve read other articles or blog posts we’ve shared about free psychic services, you already know why we DON’T recommend you pursue free readings if you are serious about getting accurate information.
(and NOT getting ripped off in the process – ironically, free psychic services are often the MOST expensive, simply because they pull bait and switch style nonsense once they have you on the phone)

Should I email a psychic? Are there advantages to getting a psychic reading by email? And if there are…..what are they?
If you are anything like the vast majority of folks who enjoy our articles on mediums, clairvoyance and getting a psychic “peek” at your future before it happens, the simple truth is an email reading has a lot of appeal.
It’s easy, non confrontational, and if you are a bit on the shy side, it’s an easy way to get intuitive answers to your most pressing life questions and conundrums without having to ask out loud.

The truth is, while that may SOUND good in theory, I’ve found that email readings are not nearly as good, as effective, or as convincing as more conventional readings can be.
Here is why:
Most obviously, email readings are NOT spontaneous, in the moment, and don’t involve an exchange of “psychic” energy between two people. (at least from my perspective) Most intuitives who do email readings do an overall life reading or review process, and I’ve simply found these to be less specific, less accurate, and quite frankly…..less exciting than having a real conversation that takes place in real time.
There is also a very different psychic “skill” at play for email readings. In my decade of experience with clairvoyants, mediums, intuitive’s and energy workers of all types and stripes, the simple truth is, the BEST ones work by creating rapport, relationship and genuine connectivity during your time together.
Phone psychics, for example…..will often tell you that your voice acts as energetic trigger that allows them to see, feel and identify with your life challenges, and see your ultimate purpose, passion and pain.
Readers who work face to face will often tell you that your BODY, your aura and personal energy offers them the same insight.
Yet email readings are “dry” from my experience, and often are very general, and impersonal as a result. (more similar to a horoscope you may find in a newspaper, or a generalized astrological chart that feels less than intimate or personally powerful)
Of course this is just MY opinion…and yours may differ! But if you are a fan of psychic readings by email, I encourage you to try a different style of psychic, and see if you aren’t super surprised at how much better a PHONE reading, or personal psychic session can be!

Are you hunting for the “perfect” reader for your needs? Good for you! Choice is a very powerful option for consumers, and the good news is, in today’s day and age……we have TONS of options when it comes to getting a psychic reading. There are mediums, past life psychics, life psychics, emotional intuitive’s and empaths, there are psychic detectives and energy healers and all kinds of other types of clairvoyant skills on display.
The BAD news?
The vast majority of “types” of readings advertised are more marketing than meaningful ways of categorizing the kind of psychic you really ought to see.
An example?
Someone sent me an email last night about finding a certified psychic “master” for their next reading. Essentially, they told me that they were having a hard time finding an inexpensive online reader who could be accessed by phone……but who ALSO was at “master” status. The truth is, there is NO governing body that qualifies psychics as masters or even really certifies their skills when it comes to public readings. (although there ARE some scientific organizations that “certify” certain psychics have passed certain criteria of credibility and accuracy, but these are generally NOT the same psychics who do public readings for you and I)
The key to getting an AWESOME reading is super simple:
First, don’t get sucked in by the advertising. Go with your gut, and look for intuitive’s who seem trustworthy to YOU. Read a few of their ratings and reviews. Most networks will publish the testimonials of previous callers and clients, and they rarely edit them for bad readings. (unless of course, the reviewer is exceptionally insulting or personally nasty)
Never commit too much money to an initial reading. I don’t care HOW many certifications, or “master” qualifications a clairvoyant may have, until you speak to them one on one, you have NO idea how much they’ll resonate with you! (and at the end of the day, that’s really all that matters – personal connection with a psychic is highly UNDER-RATED when it comes to the accuracy of the information that comes through)
Lastly……and I’ve said this many times before:
Have FUN with it. Relax! There are countless studies that show your mindset, or your thoughts are directly linked to your ability to “be psychic” and to be both a receiver and transmitter of psychic energy. Being overly closed off, skeptical and reluctant is NOT a good way to go into a reading, and in my view….if you are going to have that sort of attitude, your best bet is to SKIP it instead..:-) (Open up and enjoy yourself – you’ll be AMAZED at what you’ll learn!)

If you are anything like I once was….trying to pick the PERFECT psychic for my next reading often took far longer than the reading itself..:-) It was only after years of readings, writing and research….both personally and professionally alike, that I decided that I MUCH preferred to talk to psychics by phone. Want to know why? I’ll try to explain in a few simple paragraphs below!
Advantage #1: Believe it or not……phone psychic readings are scientifically PROVEN to be BETTER!
It sounds a bit outlandish…..or like "hype" , or even personal bias…..but it’s true. In most of the serious studies done of psychics, mediums and clairvoyants, the BEST results have more often than not come from the phone sessions. Places like the non profit Wind bridge Institute, studies done at the University of Arizona (the basis for which became the HBO documentary "The Afterlife Experiments") and other double and triple blind studies of psychic accuracy levels, have almost ALWAYS found phone readings to be superior. Why? Who knows? Some believe that there is less "leakage" or temptation to pick up body language signals, or prejudices that can come from physical appearance, age, clothing or, in the case of FAKES, out and out cold reading, as well.
Advantage #2: Cost, Comfort and Convenience
Quite simply, all things being equal, I’d MUCH prefer to speak to a psychic from the comfort of my own home, than traveling a great distance to talk, and see them in person. If I know the quality of the reading is going to be as good…..or better, why would I want to go and sit somewhere I’m not comfortable? Readings done by phone are often FAR less costly, by a factor of 50% or more….and MUCH less confrontational, too. In other words…..if you are a psychic junkie like me, and have LOTS of readings, there is nothing worse than sitting through a poor reading in person, when you can’t wait to leave, but don’t want to be impolite! Being able to hang up the phone, politely, is a MUCH better alternative for me…..and most of my peers agree.
As someone who has dedicated a good part of my professional, and personal life to psychic phenomena, I can tell you from first hand experience that I truly appreciate the power to talk to expert, authentic and occasionally AMAZING intuitives from the comfort of home. And if you’re anything like me…..I’M pretty sure you’re going to agree!
