When was the last time you got psychic advice? Are you a psychic “junkie” like me? Or are you more of a cynic, skeptic and think psychic insight, information and illumination is all new age nonsense?
As someone who has spent close to 2 decades writing about, researching and seeking out psychic experiences, I have had MORE paranormal encounters in the last 3 years than most will have in a lifetime! (or more!) And yet…..so many people I meet are interested in exploring the same stuff, yet think they have to jump through hoops to make it happen.

The fact is, you CAN get a great reading from the comfort and convenience of your own home….and often for me, without getting off of the couch!
I’ve mentioned this on more than one occasion in the past, and the truth is, I’ve traveled hundreds of miles and spent thousands of dollars on celebrity psychic readings that have been definitely DISAPPOINTING (or even outright bad!)
I’ve also had mind blowing readings that have amazed me, simply through phoning psychic services from my sofa, that have cost me less than an inexpensive dinner for 2.
But aren’t phone readings more difficult to do than those done face to face?
The truth is, this is one of the BIGGEST misconceptions about psychic advice that there is. A good reader doesn’t need to be in front of you to get ALL the information they need to “WOW” you at all.
As a matter of fact, the best psychic readings I’ve ever had have been those where the medium, or the clairvoyant, or the intuitive couldn’t see me at all! (which also reduces the likelihood of cold reading and guessing by a mile as well)
At the end of the day, if you are truly in need of legitimate psychic advice, there is no better option than finding a genuine reader you trust by phone, and getting the answers, the advice and the enlightenment you need, without having to go on a wild goose chase out of town, OR blow your budget to boot!

Because many free psychic readings are really a sham, and are only meant to get you into a bait and switch scenario where they’ll up sell you much more expensive services that you don’t want, need or often even understand. Can I get accurate psychic information in a 10 or 20 minute session, or does most of the really good stuff come after the reader gets comfortable with me? Or, as some folks have told me, is it best to stick with shorter readings regardless, as most of what you really want to know will “reveal” itself early on? ”
MY ANSWER: The truth is, it really depends on the psychic, and the reading! I don’t recommend you ever invest big money in an initial reading anyway, which means I like keeping it short, unless I really know the psychic well, and trust them alot. IF you are just getting started, calling an inexpensive network like PSYCHIC SOURCE, who are proven to be good (and offer a 100% money back guarantee) is the best way to go.
Or – simply visit a local reader to you, and just make sure the session is short. (usually they are one size fits all rates, anyway!)
Are you the right personality to speak to a psychic? Do you have the right temperament to try something “weird”, unusual or adventurous? Is your belief system rigid, unforgiving or locked into the same place forever?
The funny thing is, as someone who used to be a hard core skeptic and is now a true blue believer, I needed to have some pretty crazy experiences to get where I am now. And while it’s been an amazing adventure, I still find it incredibly enlightening to see how OTHER people respond differently to “psychic” experiences than me.
Let me explain:
I recently watched as a friend of mine called a psychic I recommended for the very first time. He’s a hard core skeptic, cynic and “de-bunker” of everything he thinks is far fetched, fiction and fantasy. (he calls all of this stuff, “woo-woo” like many other skeptics do as well)
My friend also has one of the worst cases of psoriasis, or a serious skin condition, that most doctors have ever seen. (literally half of his body is covered in thick, scaly, sandpapery skin……and it’s something that as a large group of old friends, we ALL feel terrible about, and never discuss because we know it embarrasses him and makes him sensitive)
None the less, he called a specific psychic service that I use myself, and recommend, and spoke to a reader that I personally have a great relationship with.
My friend put the call on speaker phone……in an attempt to “mock” the reader, and of course, make those of us in the room who DO believe in psychics feel like new age idiots! (he was trying to be funny…..but his motive was clear)
Anyway – after about 3 or 4 minutes of small talk that wasn’t that inspiring, the psychic suddenly said – ” I feel you have a very serious skin condition. It’s a common condition, but I sense that for you its’ far more serious, and has become a central issue in your life, health and self confidence…”
You could have heard a pin drop in the room, and of course, he shut off the speaker phone immediately.
The reading lasted another 5 minutes or so, and we heard none of what was said. (he actually opted for a 10 minute reading, rather than a 30 minute reading, which he had paid for)
After he hung up the phone…….I asked him what else was said, and why he didn’t use the full time.
He told me that he KNEW i had told her ahead of time that he had psoriasis, and that we had “fixed” it that she’d get that right, to trick him.
I was astonished that he believed it……..but he wouldn’t let it go. (and still believes we called this psychic service ahead of time to give them information about him, to convince him they were real)
The fact is, and I’ve grown to learn this both through personal experience and lots of research into psychic readings, there are 2 TYPES of people when it comes to belief.
- The CURIOUS.
- And the CONVINCED.
And people who are convinced of ANYTHING are often willing to work the hardest to make sure what they believe is TRUE, even if everything else they experience tells them that it’s probably not.
The CURIOUS are invariably the most interested in things we can’t quite explain, and revel in the ride! They tend to love the magic, and the mystery, and enjoy the excitement of having extraordinary experiences that aren’t easy to explain.
I USED to be convinced. Now I’m curious! And while I “know” from first hand experience from talking to having over 100 psychic readings by phone (and face to face) that have proved to me psychic abilities are true, I’m still open to the evidence, and if someone comes along that can explain it a different way…..I’m happy to listen!
Are all psychics honest?
Do all mediums tell the truth? Are all clairvoyants credible? These are very common questions that many folks want to know BEFORE calling or seeking out psychic advice, right? With so much expectation and excitement riding on a reading, most people don’t want to be duped, disappointed or let down, and who can blame them?
The fact is, most psychics are much like most OTHER people! some are honest. Others are not. Some are straightforward – others are sneaky!
Much the way some doctors are trustworthy, and some lawyers are HONEST, and some mechanics are ethical, you’ll find the same sort of disparity in the professional intuitive or medium market.
If you are worried…….seek out well rated, well reviewed and well credentialed clairvoyants, mediums and intuitives who have stood the test of time. Do your due dillegence when picking a reader (or a network) and don’t allow flashy promises, or offers that sound too good to be true to SWAY you from getting the kind of reading you deserve.
Stick with psychic services that guarantee their readings. And HAVE fun with it – while trusting your OWN gut as well! (because each of us has plenty of our own intuition – and it’s important to listen to it!)
