Are past life stories real, or just the byproduct of people who have way too much free time, way too big of an imagination and WAY too many excuses for why we’re all “screwed up” in this life?
The truth is, while I’m a big fan of reading the past life experiences of others, I’m also a big believer in always using your own common sense, and reading everything with an open mind…..but NOT a mind so big that your brains fall out. (as one of the great skeptics once famously declared)
Find your OWN truth….and follow that. (what I believe is true is the byproduct of lots of personal experience, and NOT the byproduct of simply reading alot of stories shared by others. If you truly want to have the experience of remembering a PAST LIFE, get a reading by a psychic who specializes in those sorts of sessions and make your OWN mind up)
In the meantime, here are a few past life stories we read earlier today that illustrate some of what folks seem to remember when regressed by hypnosis, and the implications those memories CAN have on your current life as well. Read more at the link following the short excerpt, or simply have your OWN past life experience HERE!
Julie was regressed and went into a past life that was over a hundred years ago. She talked about seeing her room and the fact that she was in the centre of the room. Julie stated that these were definitely her belongings as she recognised them.
Her books, her piano just her room. Definitely her room and had memories of playing that particular piano.Julie couldn’t understand why she was in the centre of the room and when she lifted up her arm all she saw was colour. It fascinated her. She lifted up her arm several times and relayed on the different colours that moved when her arm moved. All of a sudden it dawned on her.
She was lying in a coffin – her coffin! She was dead but she was not and it was such a strange experience. After Julie was brought back she remembered everything but the weird thing is in this lifetime she plays the piano. I truly believe that anything we learn in any lifetime is not wasted and those ‘talents’ we have this lifetime may be the result of a learning curve in another. Nothing is wasted.
In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at a few good questions every good psychic should be able to answer with ease…..as well as the ONE big question every intuitive prefers NOT to be asked, even by you! Curious to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look immediately below!
Question #1: What happens after we die?
Every psychic, medium, clairvoyant or intuitive has some sort of philosophy about life after death, and this is often a rich source of insight into what they believe overall. The truth is, many psychics disagree over exactly what takes place to our spiritual selves after we “cross over”, and in some respect, this COULD reflect how developed, or advanced each respective reader is. (as in my experience, the more spiritually mature a medium is, the greater depth and detail they’ll have about the afterlife, or what transpires once we get there)(
Question #2: What is MY authentic life’s purpose? (And am I living it right now?)
Most psychics have a pretty good “read” (no pun intended) on your karmic energy or aura. As a matter of fact, this tends to be the EASIEST sort of reading to do, and most average psychics should be able to pick up, or intuit, what you are doing right now in your life, and quite possibly, what you should be doing INSTEAD if you’re not. I firmly believe that everyone instinctively, and intuitively “knows” their true life mission and purpose, and often, a good psychic can simply pick that up, and just give you insight and information that you’re not allowing to come to the surface. (as most of us need a nudge in the right direction when it comes to living the life we were meant to live)
What to AVOID asking a psychic, medium or professional intuitive?
Questions about your own death are generally not considered appropriate, as it can lead to all sorts of ethical questions and confusions on both your part, and the part of the reader as well. (as there are FAR too many variables that can influence this sort of thing…..and most readers do NOT want you to live in fear as a result of something that may NOT come to pass)
The key takeaway?
If you are just getting started with psychic readings on a personal level, and need some easy ways to “break the ice” when you have your next call, both of the simple questions above are a great way to get comfortable, and to learn a lot about LIFE, and yourself at the same time.
I’m going to start this article off with a confession, and a revelation as well. (just so you know where I’m coming from)
I have absolutely NO doubt that there are many amazing psychic mediums working today, who can give you honest, insightful access to your loved ones who have crossed over to the other side. PERIOD.
I’ve not only had many, many personal experiences that has proved this to me beyond the shadow of a doubt, I have many close friends who are professional mediums, who can do exactly that.
That’s the “revelation” if you will.
The confession is THIS: Some mediums cheat.
As a matter of fact, I’ve had FAR more bad readings in my life, than good ones.
The bad ones are rarely due to cheating, rather…..they are due to the medium NOT being all that good! That said – many mediums employ various cheating techniques to help them appear far more gifted than they are. The short list below is a compendium of my OWN checklist of “cheats”, and things I look for whether I’m visiting a medium in person, or whether I’m speaking to them by phone.
- Lots of leading questions. (“have you traveled recently?”)
- Lots of VAGUE generalities (I see the letter “D”)
- Too many open ended answers. (a good medium wants you to say LESS, rather than more.
- Yes and NO answers are preferable)
An obvious attention to your body language, appearance or mannerisms (you feel like you are being “looked up and down” and judged) And insistence on WRONG information. (many mediums will try to insist something is true, even when you make it clear that it’s not!) Obviously a medium who wants to charge you more money, or incorporate other services you didn’t sign up for…..is NOT being honest. (no reputable psychic or medium will try to sell you on a candle lighting ceremony, a spell or a curse removal, and if this comes up….RUN for the hills in a hurry!)
The bottom line is, do NOT allow the bad mediums who manipulate the public scare you from seeking out legitimate mediums who CAN change your life in amazing ways. There are bad “seeds” in every profession, and while I’d love to believe all psychics are honest, unfortunately, there are a few bad apples in ours as well!
Can a psychic help predict the winning numbers in the lottery? And are there any techniques that an ordinary person can use to help improve the odds of winning a jackpot, or is that silly new age nonsense and wishful thinking?
And what about lucky numbers? Do we each have numbers that are part of our destiny, or woven into the fabric of our karma? Check out the interesting article below on psychics, the lottery and some of the ways that many people use psychic predictions to help them make important financial decisions of all types. (including some pretty big international companies to boot!)
Filed Under: Psychics and the BIGGEST “Lottery” in the World!Did you know that some of the biggest companies in the world, regularly consult with psychics on the most well known “lottery” there is? The financial markets, stocks and commodities specifically, are often referred to as the lottery for the “suit and tie set” for that exact reason. And believe it or not, many HUGE companies secretly employ psychics, astrologers, dowsers and people with demonstrated gifts of precognition, to help them forecast, and invest in the financial or futures market.
Why do people get psychic readings? What compells people to call, or visit a psychic? And what leads some people to believe psychics are REAL, where others maintain steadfastly that they are all a scam?
Now I know that some of you are SO skeptical, and think that psychic abilities are IMPOSSIBLE, therefore there would be no value in getting a reading at all.
You’re probably saying, “how can a psychic reading POSSIBLY influence me as my mind is already firmly made up.”
I won’t argue that a good reading will convince you that psychic abilities are TRUE, like my experience more than 15 years ago did for me. (and the many similar ones since)
Instead, I will share with you what one of my closest friends, a lifetime skeptic, cynic and new age “de-bunker” shared with me AFTER speaking to a psychic medium I personally recommended, under circumstances that he was comfortable would make cheating impossible.
He said – “while I’m surprised how good it was and am really, really impressed…….it just makes me more curious how psychics can get information that seems impossible, and how our brains are wired to make that possible.”
I find it really, really interesting how some people are so committed to their beliefs, that even an experience that seems to suggest something different is true, only serves to make them want to find a way to re-enforce what they already thought is a fact! (this is very common when it comes to controversial areas like psychics and the paranormal, and is called “cognitive dissonance” by those that study it closely!)
That said – here are 2 reasons to get a psychic reading TODAY, even if you think your mind is already made up.
1 – You BELIEVE in psychic abilities, think real readings are possible, and yet have NEVER had an experience that has proven to you first hand, that it’s true.
My question? Why? If you truly believe psychics are real, why haven’t you actually sought out a real psychic to substantiate your position? I was a hard core skeptic…..and a simple psychic reading changed my life forever. I never understand how folks who SAY they believe in psychic abilities, and who watch the TV shows, read the books and talk the talk, have never actually gotten a reading themselves firsthand!
2 – You are a Skeptic, Cynic and Think ALL Psychics are New Age Nonsense
I can relate to this position, because I used to believe it! But the irony is, while I believed this 100%, I never sought out to TEST my beliefs by talking to a well rated, reviewed or recommended reader. ( I simply relied on my own common sense, and what I saw on TV, which I thought were well choreographed psychic scams)
To me, being a skeptic, and yet NEVER having had a reading yourself is like saying I hate CHOCOLATE, or pizza…..yet never having tried or experienced either one of those foods.
One last thing……
Regardless of what you think is true, or believe at your core…..a psychic reading is interesting, enlightening, entertaining and a whole lot of FUN, even if it only re-affirms what you already thought was right! I’ve had hundreds of readings over the last 10 years, and as a writer, researcher and paranormal publisher, it’s now my FAVORITE part of my job bar none!
