Psychic Readings in NYC - My Personal Experience with Manhattan Clairvoyants (Interesting!)

One of my biggest passions is going to new cities and getting psychic readings. Some places have LOTS of paranormal history…..and some of the very BEST psychics anywhere in the world. Others have very little…and you have to hunt, search and scrounge around for a psychic to see.

On my many psychic adventures….one of my FAVORITE readings was at a little fair, off the beaten path in a little island just north of Key West, Florida. And at that fair, one of the organizers told me about a very well known…..yet HARD to find intuitive who worked in NYC, and I made a mental note to visit her when I planned my next trip to Manhattan.

Several years later, when I DID finally make it back up North for a wedding…..and found myself only a few blocks away from this particular intuitives "office"….I made it a point to make an appointment, and get a reading. The truth? This particular psychic (who I won’t name here) had MORE pictures of famous people on her walls than many Presidents, or celebrities or movie stars. I was excited about the reading….and sat down to hear what she had to say.

I know what you’re thinking, too……

You are waiting to hear how she blew me away with information. That her insight was incredible. That she told me things she NEVER could have known otherwise, right?

Unfortunately…..it didn’t happen that way at all! She got very little right, seemed genuinely perplexed that I didn’t live in the neighborhood (even insisted I did..:-) and got a lot of other stuff wrong as well. She was very nice…..polite, and even a bit apologetic, but when the reading was over, I felt truly disappointed that it was so surprisingly bad.

The next day?

I made a few other psychic stops..:-) I visited a few well known paranormal museums, talked to 2 more local psychics from a local NYC meet-up group (both readings were pretty good) and even visited the home of a famous celebrity medium to say hello. (one of my friends from the meet up is a close personal friend)

Overall?

I love the history and nostalgic feel that you get in NYC when it comes to psychic phenomena. But the readings themselves were NOT anything really special….and to be honest with you, the telephone psychic readings I get monthly are usually much better! (and a whole lot cheaper, with a lot less travel to boot!)
