Are there any signs that a psychic is bad? Is there a difference between a reading that is inaccurate and one that is truly terrible? I’m going to tell you the truth, after literally hundreds of readings from all types and stripes of psychics, I’ve had very FEW truly terrible readings. The ones that are? More often than not, because the person doing the reading is dishonest…..rather than being totally "off".
Here is the thing…..

All psychics have good days and bad. Some are REALLY "on" far more than not, and these are the readers we typically recommend. (and see ourselves) But even the BEST psychic, intuitive or clairvoyant can have a "off" day and still not be really BAD! With this in mind, let’s take a look at 3 signs a psychic is not only NOT very good….but often, not very honest as well.

Sign #1: They INSIST They are Right (even when you insist they aren’t)

There is nothing worse than a "no it all" intuitive. Someone who is SO sure they are right, that the reading devolves into a combative, confrontational tone that feels uncomfortable. In all my years of getting read, I’ve only had this happen a few times…and each time it did, it was NOT fun. An intuitive who keeps harping on the same points, even though they don’t "fit" your situation makes for a really bad reading, and this is our first sign for sure!

Sign #2: A reading that becomes about MONEY (rather than truth)

This is why you ALWAYS should pay up front for a reading. Use legitimate networks and AVOID the "totally free" style offers that we see so often. There is nothing worse than feeling you are on a used car lot, rather than speaking to a caring psychic, and when money issues are unresolved…..it can get uncomfortable in a hurry. The easiest way to avoid this? Just allocate a small budget, know what the cost is going in, either pay up front or deposit your funds, and take care of the fee before it even begins.

Sign #3: Candles, Curses and Cures

I’ve had one of these reading, literally in my life…and I still remember it to this day! Similar to #2, the reader told me I needed "candles" to solve a situation, and proceeded to give me a menu of options for all sorts of magic, and hexes and stuff I didn’t want, need or even believe in..:-) The truth? After nearly 20 years of readings, and writing and researching psychic phenomena professionally as well, I’ve never come across a REAL psychic who offers these style services and is legitimate….or any good.
