Can a psychic really help solve a crime? How about aid law enforcement in the search for a missing person?
We say….of COURSE, to both of those questions, but it seems that no matter how many curious cases or positive press is given to some amazing displays of intuition….there will always be those who doubt.
Here is an interesting story we happened to run across today online, of a woman (unfortunately who was found deceased) that was located some thousands of miles away through the help of a paid, professional psychic. The man who took down the information that led to her discovery was a skeptic – and member of the Department of Transportation, and her accuracy was pretty impressive for sure.

Though he says he has always been skeptical of psychics’ claims, he figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask for advice from self-professed clairvoyant Katherine Marie Jones, who lives near his mother’s house outside Sacramento, Calif.Through her business, Katherine Jones Consulting, Jones offers to analyze the next year of a person’s life and answer whatever questions they might have for $200 per hour.
On her Web site, she also offers help finding missing persons for free or reward consideration if one is involved, though she said few law enforcement agencies have contacted her
.Jones said her father was always rather intuitive and her grandfather was a dowser. When she was 10, she became curious about psychic abilities after seeing a neighbor’s book on fortune telling, and after a successful experiment with playing cards, she and her family became convinced of her ability.
She emphasizes that she doesn’t read palms or use a crystal ball, she merely taps into some wider power that allows her to see things all over the world.“I don’t want to get too religious, but God is everywhere,” she said.
